Volunteer – Wake Forest

Serve With Us.

Our volunteer staff are adults and youth who are vetted and specifically trained to care for your kids and help them have a successful camp at Wake Forest. Applications are now being taken.

Ways to Help

Pick up to three roles you would enjoy. We place volunteers where they fit best.

Event Coach

Teach and encourage campers in one of our track and field events: 60m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 4×100 relay, long jump, high jump or shot put.

Age Group Leader/Assistant

Lead or assist a group of campers through the week, including the morning devotional.

Food Team

Help prepare and serve snacks so campers have energy all morning.

Hydration Team

Keep water flowing and campers cooled off during the heat of the day.

Game Station

Run a station for team games and group fun between events.

Set-up and Tear Down Crew

Get the field, tents and supplies ready before camp and packed up after.
Before You Apply

What to Know

  • Adults and youth can volunteer. If the volunteer is younger than 18, we ask for a parent's name and cell phone number.
  • Your reference cannot be a family member (a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle) or a school friend.
  • Every volunteer reads and agrees to the volunteer code of conduct before camp.
  • Volunteers are vetted and trained before camp so every camper is cared for well.
